Moms For Liberty, Education Department Start DEI Snitch Line

The Department of Education is teaming up with the far-right Hitler-admiring group Moms for Liberty, launching a portal yesterday where parents can submit tips to the department to investigate as part of the crusade to end diversity and inclusion efforts in schools. Kids, I think you all know what to do! Via Salon:

In a press release, the department announced it was launching the portal so that anyone can “submit reports of discrimination based on race or sex in publicly-funded K-12 schools,” which the department would then use as a guide “to identify potential areas for investigation.”

The press release included a statement from Tiffany Justice, a co-founder of Moms for Liberty and Heritage Foundation employee. Justice claimed that “parents have been begging schools to focus on teaching their kids practical skills like reading, writing, and math, instead of pushing critical theory, rogue sex education and divisive ideologies — but their concerns have been brushed off, mocked, or shut down entirely.”

Mike Johnson: People At GOP Town Halls 'Paid Protesters'

During a discussion on Wednesday's The Source with Kaitlan Collins, GOP House Speaker Mike Johnson sparred with Collins over the budget resolution which just passed in the House this Tuesday, which lays the framework for massive cuts to our social safety nets while boosting defense spending and extending Trump's tax cuts for the rich.

Johnson, of course, tried to lie that the bill they passed wasn't going to slash Medicaid funding, even though, as Collins repeatedly tried to point out, they aren't going to ever get to the numbers they're giving without doing exactly that.

Collins asked Johnson about the blowback Trump and Musk and their Republican enablers have been getting at these town halls, where angry constituents have been turning out to give them a piece of their minds over what's been happening with the DOGE slash and burn mayhem, and Johnson blew it off as just a bunch of "paid protesters" or Democrats showing up early.

Fox Doctor Laments That 'Vaccine Confidence Is At An All-Time Low’

Fox's Dr. Marc Siegel needs to hold a mirror up to his own network if he's upset that people in the United States no longer want to get vaccinated.

As the Independent noted, Siegel failed to mention Fox's part in creating that problem:

Fox News medical contributor Marc Siegel sounded the alarm on Tuesday that the measles outbreak impacting the southwest United States “is not going to be stopped without the vaccine,” all while lamenting that “vaccine confidence is at an all-time low.”

Siegel suggested that vaccine mandates during the coronavirus had led to lower vaccination rates, while conveniently leaving out his own network’s role in peddling anti-vaccine rhetoric to its conservative viewers that contributed towards plummeting confidence among Republicans.

Speaker Johnson Claims Elon Musk Cracked Codes To Infiltrate The Government

Speaker Mike Johnson claimed Elon Musk instantly has broken the codes to government agency data with his algorithms which will comb through the data, deciding who lives and dies in the federal government.

This is beyond disgusting and despicable.

Turning the entire federal government and all their agencies, which include thousands upon thousands of employees into the hands of the richest man in the world who doesn't understand how government works is criminal. To allow him access into the heart of the government's computer systems with his personal algorithms is treasonous to the public at large.

Notice how Johnson claims there is some global cabal conspiracy that has all the codes to unlock the deep state.

The problem is for decades, as we know, we haven't been able to do that job well. Because even though we requested the data and requested the insight, it was hidden.

How many of you know that bureaucracy was not forthcoming, right?

They're not transparent. That's the whole point. That's the problem.

That's the deep state we talk about.

So they were hiding from Congress.

We didn't know that USAID was funding drag shows in Peru or whatever, you know, transgender operas in Columbia or whatever, you know.

I mean, it's madness, but Elon has cracked the code. He is now inside the agencies.

He's created these algorithms that are constantly crawling through the data, and as he told me in his office, the data doesn't lie.

'People Of Oklahoma Lost Their Jobs': NBC Host Clashes With GOP Lawmaker Over Elon's Cuts

NBC host Kristen Welker clashed with Sen. Markwayne Mullin (R-OK) after billionaire Elon Musk convinced President Donald Trump's government to slash thousands of jobs.

During a Sunday interview on Meet the Press, Welker confronted Mullin with news from his state.

"Here are some recent headlines in your home state of Oklahoma, quote, federal layoffs felt across indigenous communities in Oklahoma," the NBC host said. "Oklahoma University president says the National Institutes of Health funding cut would severely impact university research."

"Thousands of Oklahoma veterans and caregivers struggle amid cuts to VA," she continued. "This comes as there have been town halls all across the country, including in Oklahoma, protesting these cuts."

"What is your message to the people of Oklahoma who say they are being hurt by these cuts by President Trump and Elon Musk?"

Mullin insisted Democrats were "manufacturing these protests."

"But what about the headlines in your state?" Welker pressed.

"There has to be a reset. It has been abused," Mullin replied. "So if you want to start talking about actual cuts, what Oklahomans want is to make sure that we rid or we get rid of the waste and fraud inside the federal government. And that's exactly what the president's done."

CNN Panelist Says It: Trump Acts Like A Russian Asset

Former Republican lawmaker Joe Walsh told CNN that Trump acts like a Russian asset.

Where's the lie?

Trump has been acting like a flat-out Kremlin plant, doing the bidding of Vladimir Putin in every way, especially when it comes to the war against Ukraine.

Jim Sciutto, the CNN host, lightly pushed back against the idea that Trump is a Russian asset by saying there is no evidence to prove that. Really?

Hey Jim, actions speak louder than words.

The panel discussion was on a different topic, but Walsh returned to Trump acting like Putin's puppet.

WALSH: The American president right now could be a plant, could be a Russian asset.

I mean, think about that. Here I am. I know it's early in the morning to say something like that, but think about that.

And if the American people don't care about that, that Putin might have something on Trump, that he's an asset, that he's a plant, that he's doing the bidding of Vladimir Putin, if the American people don't care about that.

Well, the thing is, listen.

I'm sorry to get us off the topic.

SCIUTTO: We don't have evidence of that. I mean, the point about their positions being aligned is a different one.

WALSH: Everything he's done, everything he's said for eight or nine years is exactly what Vladimir Putin would say and want him to do.

Walsh is absolutely correct when he describes Demented Donald's actions that are in sync with Vladimir Putin.

Tom Homan Begins Sending Migrants To Concentration Camps

Trump's border Czar, Tom "General" Zod Homan, offhandedly dismissed a report by The Washington Post which says the Trump administration has wrongly branded several men as Tren de Aragua gang members who were sent to Gitmo.

Trump and his highly flammable Secretary of Defense claimed they were only sending the worst of the worst to Guantanamo Bay. Still, reports are out showing they're just picking random people up and shipping them out to concentration camps.

How did that work in the United States in the past?

VARNEY: The administration said the worst of the worst over the people. They were the people are going to be held in Gitmo, but there's an article in the Washington Post this morning says that some family members of those detained say they're being falsely branded as members of Tren de Aragua. What's your response to that, Tom?

HOMAN: That's the Washington Post. I mean, look, President Trump has just been clear. We'll put the worst of the worst at Gitmo. I've said it before, I'll say it again. No one's off the table. If you're in this country illegally, it's not okay.

Trump: What? Me Study Tariffs?

Donald Trump told the press there's no need to study the effects his tariffs would have on the US economy because "there's nothing to study."

What, me worry?

With 330 million people in this country voting against Kamala Harris because of inflation, Trump refuses to do a minimal amount of preparation and data gathering before imposing harsh tariffs that will raise the prices of all goods and services.

REPORTER: Would you also direct agencies to study the impact they would have on prices in the U.S.?

TRUMP: No, there's nothing to study.

There's nothing to study.

It's going to go well. The United States is going to become a very, very strong economic, economically country.

The MAGA cult cannot have any scrutiny, transparency, or research directed at their plans because then they would be exposed as being complete failures.

Trump can't afford studies on his tariffs because, as the WSJ admitted early on, they will be a nightmare in the US economy.

'Depraved': 5 Charged In Murder Of Trans Man After Torturing Him For Months

Five people have been charged in New York with murder after police say they tortured and killed a 24-year-old transgender man from Minnesota. According to the authorities, Sam Norquist's body was found in a field in Yates County after enduring months of torture.

In a GoFundMe, Sam's sister, Kayla, noted that he traveled to New York in late September to meet his online girlfriend. The last time the family heard from Sam was on Jan. 1. Since the launch of the donation page, Sam Norquist's body was found.

According to troopers, Patty’s Lodge Motel was the last location where Nordquist was known to be staying, and that's where they located the people involved with his alleged torture and murder. They are charged with second-degree murder.

News 10 reports:

At a news conference on Friday, Captain Kelly Swift of the NYSP Bureau of Criminal Investigations said Nordquist endured “prolonged physical and physiological abuse” starting in December.

Elon Musk’s DOGE Website Was Hacked Within Days Of Its Launch

Super genius Elon Musk, the unelected dipshit, who is all in our business, is a goddamned fucking idiot, and his idiocy leaves us all at risk, considering the insufferable narcissistic fool has access to our data. What's weird is that the recently launched DOGE site is a .gov site; even though he wasn't elected, Donald is letting him run roughshod over the federal government. And it's easy to hack. Like, really easy.

Fortune reports:

Hackers wasted no time in infiltrating the Department of Government Efficiency’s website.

After its hasty launch this week, at least two pages of the site have been defaced by critics who seemingly have accessed a database the page draws from. Two messages appeared on two separate pages of the site, reading, “This is a joke of a .gov site” and “THESE ‘EXPERTS’ LEFT THEIR DATABASE OPEN.”

The hacked pages, though still accessible as of 10:00 a.m. ET on Friday morning, no longer appear to people who navigate to the DOGE website in traditional methods.

404 Media, which first discovered the hacked pages, quoted anonymous experts who said the DOGE page does not appear to be hosted on government servers and was pulling data from a database that can be accessed by third parties. That opened the doors for the embarrassing criticism.

The NEXT 30 Days Are CRUCIAL For America's Survival After Trump

A number of things Trump is doing--or should we say President Elon is doing--are threatening us in ways so dangerous, they could end our nearly 250 year republic.

Some we see now, some only in the future. Let's talk about on that is both: USAID, or Trump's devastating worldwide dumbassery. The shocking impact of TrumpMusk's global foreign aid cuts & complicity of GOP allies, includes not just an attack on humanity, but also self interest: Not having a global economic meltdown like 2008, another 9/11 or pandemic like, COVID, but maybe more deadly. Then there's mass migration b/c of these. I thought Trump was against it!? (He is..but too stupid to stop stepping on his own d*ck).

We show how decades of humanitarian efforts have been crippled with this move, and some may be impossible to restore. Also, how myths--or we might say, flat-out, rat-arsed, Republican lies--about aid spending have shaped public opinion, perhaps leading to catastrophic consequences.

Rep. Moore Took Direct Action Over Pre's ActionsThe Orange Felon Did The Crime But Can's Actions

Earlier this week, Rep. Gwen Moore (D-WI) and Rep. Judy Chu (D-CA) pushed their way into Speaker Jebus Johnson's office in the hopes to confront Johnson and Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent over what President Elmo and his posse of Fortnite rejects was doing with the personal information of everybody in the country. She took a minute to discuss why on CNN:

But the reality is, is that my phones are blowing up here in Washington, D.C. and in my district office, and all I've been able to say to people is that I don't know when they ask, not, you know, something that you didn't necessarily mention. Why do these people have access to my Social Security number, to my bank account, in addition to all of the things that you brought forth before?

Because I'm on the Ways and Means Committee, and under Section 6103 of the Internal Revenue Code, it is criminal to access someone's Social Security information without authorization. And what we saw was Elon Musk marching in with his group of young people, pushing away the federal employees demanding that they leave, putting them on leave, and having these young people stick their thumb drives in the computer, people with skills as engineers to be able to create back doors to the $6 trillion budget.

Judge Halts Trump Scheme To Place 2,000 USAID Staff On Leave

A judge has temporarily blocked Yambo from placing 2,200 workers at the USAID on paid leave, hours before it was due to happen. Via BBC.com:

Judge Carl Nichols said he would issue a "very limited" temporary restraining order, in response to a lawsuit filed by two unions trying to stop Trump's plan to dismantle the aid agency.

Nearly all of USAID's 10,000 staff – except 611 employees – were due to be put on administrative leave from midnight on Friday under Trump's plan.

But the lawsuit, representing 2,200 of the employees, argued Trump was violating the US Constitution.

The judge sided with the unions, although it is unclear what will happen to the remaining staff's jobs. The organisations who sued told the BBC they were waiting for the text of the court order to find out how all employees would be affected.

One Month Ago: Pacific Palisades Wildfires Destroyed My Home And Tahitian Terrace

At 11:55 AM on January 7, 2025, I was finishing up a Zoom call when there was a loud knock at my door.

I put the call on hold and answered the door. A worried neighbor asked me if I was starting to pack.

I didn't know what she was alluding to, since I was busy working on some articles before the Zoom call.

I stepped outside and saw smoke billowing in the distance, a sight I'd never seen in Tahitian Terrace. In that instant, my life and the lives of my friends and neighbors changed.

It didn't take long for the hellfire to ravage the Terrace and upend the lives of all those who lived there. I can't believe a month went by. Some days are a blur, and others are vivid.

I haven't discussed this event except in one interview and a few quick social media posts, but I will in the coming weeks.

Mike Johnson Blames Media For Reporting On President Musk's Coup

Speaker of the House Mike Johnson's defense of co-president Elon Musk and Donald Trump's unconscionable actions is to attack the media for reporting on it.

During a press gaggle, Fox News reporter Chad Pegram asked the right question about Article 1, the powers of the Executive branch and the unelected official known as Elon Musk that is causing havoc.

PEGRAM: By Republicans, on one hand, where we've been for years now, oh, we want to not have unelected bureaucrats in charge of things downtown, and yet ceding Article I powers to the executive branch under Elon Musk.

Is there not an inconsistency about calling for the elimination of the Department of Education? And yet we've heard from some of your colleagues here this morning, you know, we don't want women to be playing sports with men.

And aren't you ceding back that power, then, as it pertains to education, if you eliminate the Department of Education?

JOHNSON: No, look, I've got to challenge the premise of the question, Chad.

You know me. I'm a fierce advocate and defender of Article I. I mean, look, we are the legislative branch.

There's a reason the Founding Fathers put the Congress, the legislative branch, as the first article in the Constitution, and we're going to vigorously defend that.

The Entire Workforce At The CIA Just Received ‘Buyout’ Offers

On Tuesday, the CIA offered buyouts to its entire workforce. The agency told its employees they could quit their jobs and receive around eight months of pay and benefits. Every single employee at the agency received the offer.

So much chaos created by 47 and Elon right now can make your head spin. Donald has targeted the FAA and the FBI and now wants to gut the CIA. Meanwhile, Donald wants the U.S. to own GAZA, while Elon has gained access to the Treasury. And that's just the shortlist.

CNN reports:

The Central Intelligence Agency on Tuesday became the first major national security agency to offer so-called buyouts to its entire workforce, a CIA spokesperson and two other sources familiar with the offer said, part of President Donald Trump's broad effort to shrink the federal government and shape it to his agenda.

The offer — which tells federal employees that they can quit their jobs and receive roughly eight months of pay and benefits — had up until Tuesday not been made available to most national security roles in an apparent cognizance of their critical function to the security of the nation.

CIA Director John Ratcliffe personally decided he also wanted the CIA to be involved, one of the sources said.

How Does President Musk Know Good Government Spending From Bad?

Donald Trump pretended Elon Musk is an expert at foreign and domestic government spending in the US to support his attack on the offices of USAID.

Trump's moronic response also tried to assure everyone that his administration knows what they are doing.

They are as fucking clueless as they were a few days ago when they sent out a memo halting all funding that almost crashed the country.

Oh, and Demented Donald lied about the phony $50 million condom purchase for Gaza because that's all the idiot knows how to do.

During a press gaggle, a haggard-looking Trump (only on the job for 12 days) was asked about Musk's raid on USAID.

Q: Why is it important for young people to have access to the payment systems at Treasury?

TRUMP: Well, he's got access only to letting people go that he thinks are no good, if we agree with him. And it's only if we agree with him.

He's a very talented guy from the standpoint of management and costs.

And we put him in charge of seeing what he can do with certain groups and certain numbers.

The numbers, some of the numbers are horrible, what he's found 100, think of it $100 million on condoms to Hamas, condoms to Hamas, and many other things that are frankly, even more ridiculous.

Hating a country (Musk hates too many to count) that is receiving aid is not finding waste.

Alex Jones Claims Trump Gave Him Classified Intelligence

Disgraced asshole Alex Jones told his sycophants that Trump has already given him sensitive information without asking for it.

Jones also claims that Trump and Elon Musk are going to get revenge on his, Jones's, behalf.

JONES: But let's just say the Trump administration released something to us that we just got yesterday.

I don't think our enemies are going to be too happy, but see, that news is minor. So it just goes over here on the side for now.

Woo, baby, because none of us that have been persecuted by this evil system are going to have any problems anymore once this is completed and there's no turning it back now.

So yeah, I feel like a trillion pounds have been lifted off of me.

Thank you, God.

Jones was rightly prosecuted because he was a scumbag that promoted lies and conspiracies that hurt American families. Trump is pissing on the Sandy Hook families who suffered from this creep and won a huge settlement against Jones.

JONES: And then Trump's going to start releasing all the secret intelligence agency and FBI investigations that have gone on against the American people, including me. We've already been given the first tranche of information.

That's fast, I didn't expect 12 days, that's yesterday, into this we're 13 now. I didn't even call, ask for anything, nothing. I said, let him move to the big stuff first, secure the Republic.

HOAX! Mango Mussolini Backs Down On Tariffs, Pretends He Won

He's such a rake-stepper. The Fucking News reports:

"[Mexico's President Claudia] Sheinbaum said she and Trump had come to a deal to push back the threatened tariffs by a month, during which her negotiators will try to come to terms with Trump’s crack diplomatic team of Fox hosts and Wall Street billionaires....And, by the way, just on Friday, Trump claimed he wasn’t looking for Mexico to do anything. “We’re not looking for a concession,” he said, as TFN pointed out this weekend. Which means accepting a concession is actually him backing down."

OF COURSE IT IS.

One colleague suggested that this tariff nonsense was a ruse to distract the news media from Elon Musk's taking over the Social Security Payment infrastructure, but I don't give Trump that much credit.

He's a con man who acts out a drama script to make himself look good for the rubes on Fox. If anything, this was a distraction from his incompetence, killing scores of American citizens in airline collisions.

It's all performative bullshit. And it's a shitty thing to do to our neighbors and allies.

But it crashed the stock market, so Trump's got THAT going for him.

Jim Acosta Slammed 'Tyrant' Trump, Quit CNN On Live TV

Broadcaster Jim Acosta's a hero. Instead of accepting some ridiculous new time slot in a made up hour in the middle of the night, instead of lying down and accepting his corporate-media station's acquiescence to a wannabe dictator...Acosta quit on live tv, telling Americans not to bow down to "tyrant" Donald Trump.

He rightfully ripped CNN, his employer for years, in the very same sentence he trashed Trumpolini. When he said that "it's never a good time to bow down to a tyrant," he obviously made it clear he thought *someone* or some station, was doing exactly that. I wonder who?

Look, CNN's total garbage, with one arse after another coming in to run the original 24-hour news channel into the ground. Trying to attract MAGA mooks who'll NEVER WATCH. Ever. Their cult leader told them CNN's an "enemy of the people" and who are they to do any critical thinking, question their very own Kim Jong Un, but with a slightly worse hair...thing.

Watch the video! And support non-CNN, non-corporate media that does its best to spread truth. Subscribe to my channel, Cliff's Edge, for more great content like this!

Eric Swalwell Is Completely Out Of F*cks To Give

Rep Eric Swalwell is doing exactly what the Democrats need to be doing more of: Posting videos on social media, dropping curse words (appropriately) and tearing Trump up for all of his non-stop bullshit.

From the DC plane crash to blaming DEI to Trump's overall stupidity about (waves hands around) EVERYTHING.

I mean, Trump can't do anything right. He can't comfort people. He is a clown. Instead of doing his job of leading the country, he spent his time trying to blame people because of race or gender. He is just a terrible person who can't rise to the occasion.

More of this, Democrats.
