Trump Gripes: 'The Court Was The Fraudster Of The Case'

Former President Donald praised himself for what he called "conclusive" evidence after he testified at his $250 million fraud trial.

During his contentious appearance on the witness stand, prosecutors grilled Trump to prove damages in the fraud case. The witness repeatedly gave them the ammunition they were looking for.

But following his testimony, Trump claimed to have the upper hand.

"This is a case that should have never been brought," he ranted outside a New York courthouse. "It's a case that should be dismissed immediately. The fraud was on behalf of the court."

Trump repeated his claim that the court had found his Mar-a-Lago home was worth "only $18 million."

"They had no idea what the numbers were when they said $18 million for Mar-a-Lago. And it's 50 to 100 times that amount by any estimation. It's a terrible thing that's happened here. We're taking days and days and weeks and weeks, and it goes on, and then you look at the outside world and what's happened," he said, trailing off.

Trump then referred to his own testimony.

"And this is a case that should have never been brought, and it's a case that now should be dismissed. Everybody saw what happened today," he said. And I think you saw what I had to say today and it was very conclusive."

InfoWars J6er Lawyer Cries About Prosecutors 'Having Thumb On Scale'

Those poor, poor mistreated January 6th insurrectionists. As we discussed here back in August of 2021, InfoWars host Owen Shroyer was none too happy when he informed his audience that he had until the following Monday to turn himself into authorities:

A host for the far-right conspiracy website InfoWars was charged in connection with the January 6 Capitol riot this week – with federal prosecutors alleging he broke the terms of a deal to avoid charges from a January 2020 arrest.

[...]

Shroyer is in even more legal jeopardy than most, as he also interrupted a House Judiciary Committee hearing in December 2019. Part of his sentencing was 32 hrs of community service, which Shroyer never did.

In mid-September, Shroyer was finally sentenced to two months in prison.

Now his lawyer Norm Pattis is running to Steve Bannon's network to whine about how terribly unfair it is that his client has been put in solitary confinement for a second time, and claiming that "the D.C. prosecutors office has their thumb on the scale for punishment of J6ers."

Here's more on that from the Independent:

President Zelensky Calls Putin A ‘F--ing Terrorist’

This war comes down to whether we stop the terrorist Putin in Ukraine or we don't. And if we don't he'll keep coming. For the Ukrainians this war is simple: Fight or die.

Source: Daily Beast

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky did not mince words when discussing his Russian opponent Vladimir Putin during a Meet the Press interview on Sunday. “I have a lot of power, back even feeling strong. And I have a lot of energy,” he said when asked what kept him going. “It doesn’t mean that we want to fight all our lives because the price is high, like I said. Because the war takes the best of us, the best heroes, the best men, women, children. That’s it. But we are not ready to give our freedom to this f—ing terrorist, Putin. That’s it. That’s why we are fighting. That’s it.”

Trump Promises 'Ideological Screening' For Immigrants During Florida Rally

During a rally in Kissimmee, Florida this Saturday, Trump promised an even more extreme version of his 2017 travel ban. As The Daily Beast reported, this is something he rolled out last month not long after the Hamas attack in Israel.

Donald Trump’s travel ban is back and more extreme than ever.

The former president rolled out a new and more ideologically-driven version of his 2017 policy at a rally in Iowa on Monday, first revealed in excerpts released by the Trump campaign.

He called for “strong ideological screening” for all immigrants entering the United States, in addition to suspending refugee resettlement by reinstating the Trump administration’s 2017 travel ban, which was targeted primarily at majority-Musilm countries. Trump pegged the new travel ban to the recent Hamas terrorist attacks in Israel.

Trump listed several ideologies that would “disqualify” someone from immigrating to the United States.

“If you empathize with Radical Islamic terrorists and extremists, you're DISQUALIFIED—if you want to abolish the state of Israel, you're DISQUALIFIED,” Trump’s prepared speech read. “If you support Hamas or the ideology behind Hamas, you're DISQUALIFIED—and if you're a Communist, Marxist, or Fascist, you are DISQUALIFIED.”

Only The Best People, Part Infinity Plus One

Federico Klein, a former Trump appointee who participated in the J6 insurrection, was sentenced to 70 months in prison:

Federico Klein, 45, was convicted in July on 12 charges, including assaulting officers and obstructing an official proceeding.

Prosecutors said Klein was in the first wave of rioters to enter a Capitol tunnel on 6 January 2021.

"You can't stop this!" he said, wedging open doors with a stolen police shield.

The former Marine spent more than an hour pushing against the line of officers and encouraged others to attack police, according to evidence at trial.

At the time, Klein was working as a South America specialist at the state department, a post he was appointed to by the Trump administration in 2017.

There's speculation that Klein felt he needed to commit these crimes to keep his job. That sure didn't work out for him.

Well, at least he'll have lots of time to become friends with the other cockroaches.
