In a presidency that appears designed to collect liberal tears, it's hard to think of a worst week for decency and values than this past one. There was so much that I don't know we could cobble up a complete list. There would undoubtedly be something that would have been a major story in any other presidency that barely merits a mention now.
So I just want to take a page from Aunty Maxine and simply say "You think we're going to stand by and allow you to do that? I don't think so. Donald Trump, you think you can get away with everything, but you have gone too far."
The arc of the moral universe is long but it does bend towards justice.
That's all I can hang onto after this week.
