The staff at Crooks and Liars is sad tonight -- we learned that long-time commenter and friend -- known on the site as General Jack D Ripper -- has died.
His IRL obituary is here, his legacy of great comments is how we will remember him.
He was also a Stones fan.
Rest in peace.
