‘Wolfs’ sequel canceled because director ‘no longer trusted’ Apple

It may be hard to remember, but George Clooney and Brad Pitt co-starred in a movie, “Wolfs,” that Apple released just two months ago. On Friday, the film’s writer and director Jon Watts said Friday that a sequel is no longer happening; in a follow-up interview with Deadline, he explained that he “no longer trusted […]

MAGA Apologist Tries To 'Both Sides' Hegseth Sexual Assault With Russian Disinfo On Biden

This has to be one of the more pathetic attempts to pretend to "both sides" the sexual assault accusations against Hegseth and Trump that I've seen in quite a while.

I'm not sure why CNN thought they were doing their viewers any sort of favor by bringing on Trump apologist Tricia McLaughlin for this segment, and they really do need to get their act together with who is invited on as a guest.

Trump employees who are willing to lie for him as part of their job, or in the hope of future employment do nothing but misinform the public.

Sadly, that was once again the case during the segment above. Here's the back and forth where Democratic strategist Julie Roginsky had to remind McLaughlin about why Hegseth isn't qualified for the job Secretary of Defense, along with the fact that the accusations of rape or sexual assault aren't his only problem:

ROGINSKY: Pete Hegseth has many problems in addition to what you just said. Pete Hegseth, when he was at Princeton, published an article that said that women who are raped while they're passed out, actually, that's not really rape, because if they can't consent, if they're not aware of what's happening to them, that's not rape.

Rachel Maddow Takes $5 Million Pay Cut From MSNBC

Maddow is taking a $5 million pay cut amid growing uncertainty about MSNBC's future, The Ankler reported yesterday. Via the Daily Beast:

Maddow, who currently makes $30 million a year at the network, renegotiated for $25 million a year for the next five years.

“This is a difficult time and they needed to keep her. No one else can do what she does. You can’t build a brand like it overnight,” one executive told The Ankler.

Comcast, the owner of NBCUniversal, plans to spin off several NBC channels— like MSNBC and CNBC— into its own company. NBCUniversal Chairman Mark Lazarus is currently heading the effort, expected to be completed by the end of 2025, called SpinCo.

The channel is currently at a crossroads following President-elect Donald Trump’s victory. According to Nielsen data, ratings dipped to 40 percent less than they were this time last year— though execs are counting on viewers to come back the way they did in 2016 once Trump’s administration gets underway.

But wait! They don't know how to cover the news anymore! What to do?

“We were so Harris propaganda that when she lost, viewers were shocked,” one on-air pundit said. “It turned into one giant circle j--k and echo chamber. If MSNBC wants to be of service to its viewers, they can’t keep them in fantasy land.”

Uh Oh! Mediaite Has Pete Hegseth's Rapey Police Report

Mediaite obtained full police report of the 2017 rape charges brought about by an Jane Doe she leveled against one of Trump's insane cabinet selections.

The alleged rape occurred in Monterey, California, and took place at a Republican women's conference.

No formal charges went through after the two parties worked out a settlement. However, if you read this account, it's damning all on its own.

According to the report, the police were first made aware of the alleged assault when Doe, who was 30 at the time, submitted for a rape-kit exam at a local hospital. A nurse from the hospital called an officer at the Monterey Police Department and reported the assault claim. Days later, police spoke with Doe as part of their investigation.

Doe said she spoke with Hegseth on the final night of the conference, during which attendees were drinking in a suite and at a bar in the hotel. Doe told police that Hegseth was flirting with women and putting his hand on their legs at the conference, and this prompted her to tell Hegseth she did not appreciate how he treated women.

This rape allegedly took place not at the Democratic Ladies of the Socialist, Marxist, gender-swapping, anti-American, liberal coalition, but for Republicans. ( I made them up) A person with his TV visibility might think he was safe from recrimination at this conference.
