A.G. Sulzberger, publisher of The New York Times, said on Sunday that he took a meeting with Donald Trump to call out the commander-in-chief's divisive and "dangerous" rhetoric.
Sulzberger apparently agreed to keep the meeting "on background". But in a tweet on Sunday, Trump complained that Sulzberger "[s]pent much time talking about the vast amounts of Fake News being put out by the media & how that Fake News has morphed into phrase, 'Enemy of the People.' Sad!"
Since Trump had violated his desire for confidentiality of the meeting, Sulzberger fired back in a statement later on Sunday.
