Todd Blanche Defends DOJ Sending Federal Agents To Polling Stations

Responding to critics of the DOJ sending a thousand "election monitors" to polling stations during the midterms," Atty. Gen. Todd Blanche claimed the DOJ has been doing it since the 60s and Senators should instead thank God they are doing it.


Sen. Tammy Baldwin is,
"introducing a new bill to protect voters from intimidation or interference by federal agents at polling locations called the Safe Access to the Polls Act."

Blanche was on Fox News Sunday today and received no pushback for many of his answers.

BREAM: The DOJ planning to send out a thousand monitors to the polls during the midterm elections," Shannon Bream said.

Democratic Senator Tammy Baldwin has said this about the upcoming election. She says our democracy demands or depends on Americans being able to show up at the ballot box and have their voices heard.

But that's all at risk this November as President Trump openly weighs sending in armed federal agents to our schools, churches, fire stations and other polling locations.

So what exactly is the plan? Who are these monitors gonna be?

And how do you answer critics who say it's about intimidation?

BLANCHE: I wish that the senators that are in the congressmen that are saying this fear of fear-mongering false statements would just not do that.

It's not fair to the American people.
