ABC Host To Ramaswamy: 'You Would Vote For A Convicted Felon'

ABC News host George Stephanopoulos grilled Republican presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy about his pledge to vote for former President Donald Trump even if he is convicted of a felony.

"Your hand shot up pretty fast at the debate when you were asked whether you would vote for Donald Trump in the general election, even if he was a convicted felon," Stephanopoulos noted in a Sunday interview. "Can you just explain why you would vote for a convicted felon for president?"

"If the Constitution permits somebody to run, and that's the person that people of this country want to elect, then that's the way our system works, and I stand by it," Ramaswamy stated.

"Why do you think it's okay for a convicted felon to be president?" the host asked again.

"I do not want to see us become a banana republic where the administrative police state uses police force to eliminate opponents from competition," the candidate insisted. "I will pick who I believe the best next president should be."

Stephanopoulos seemed flummoxed by Ramaswamy's support of Trump.

"And you find his actions abhorrent around January 6th," the host observed. "You said he was wrong to take the classified information. You said you would not do that yourself. You still say you would vote for him for president. That's what I don't get."

But the candidate said he had taken a pledge to vote for the Republican nominee in order to participate in a GOP primary debate.

Tucker’s Recycled Racist Whopper: Gay Obama A Crack Smoker

If you thought being outed as deliberately spreading disinformation about the 2020 election and deliberately endangering a loyal Fox viewer with more lies about Jan. 6 might have given Carlson any second thoughts about continuing to spread his dishonest poison, think again.

In fact, he admitted being a liar to Adam Carolla shortly before going on to promote the Obama lies. Carlson said, “It’s not that I lied intentionally before. I mean it, I didn’t. I didn’t. I never have been in favor of lying.” This is a lie in itself because lying is, by definition, the telling of an intentional falsehood.

In favor of lying or not, Carlson has very much been outed as a liar by the Dominion defamation lawsuit. It is also public information that he tried to get fired those who wouldn’t go along with his lies. In fact, I just caught him lying about his support for Russia on his own show, on Friday, two days after Carolla's show was posted on YouTube.

Late Night Music Club: Joan Jett & The Blackhearts - I Love Rock 'N' Roll

I didn't know until today that Joan Jett's iconic I Love Rock'N'Roll was actually a cover song. She first heard it on TV in a hotel room when The Arrows performed it. I also didn't know that it took her years to get things just the way she wanted it - the right musicians, a big record company contract, etc - before she recorded her famous version of the song. Furthermore, I only learned today that she had tweaked the lyrics and it became an instant theme song for women empowerment.

Nope, I didn't know any of that stuff. I just knew that it's a kick-ass rock'n'roll song from my much younger days and that little scream she does sends thrills up and down my spine. The fact that Jett is also a very big union supporter only made me even more of a fanboy. Well, OK, now more of a fancodger, but you know what I mean.
