What year is it and where are we? It sounds as if Tokyo's Flashlights are from a time not too far after the release of Radio Birdman's Radio Appears album which made such an impression on them, that they went to capture that vibe themselves.
Though they're a band operating in the now, if someone said they were some great, lost band of 1978, who would question it?
