In the treasure trove of text messages from Mark Meadows obtained and uncovered by Talking Points Memo, it was revealed that South Carolina Rep. Ralph Norman urged Trump to declare 'martial law' to prevent President-elect Joe Biden from assuming office.
TPM reports that at least thirty-four Republican members of Congress communicated with Trump Chief of Staff Mark Meadows to try and overturn the 2020 election.
"The Messages Included Battle Cries, Crackpot Legal Theories, And ‘Invoking Marshall Law!!’
If this isn't treason to the US Constitution, I don't know what is.
One such message came from South Carolina Rep. Ralph Norman on January 17th, three days before Biden's inauguration and eleven days after the January 6th insurrection.
"Mark, in seeing what’s happening so quickly, and reading about the Dominion law suits attempting to stop any meaningful investigation we are at a point of � no return � in saving our Republic !! Our LAST HOPE is invoking Marshall Law!! PLEASE URGE TO PRESIDENT TO DO SO!!
