During the first nine minutes of Todd Blanche's interview on Face The Nation, Trump's AG was backpedaling, interrupting, getting angry, and claiming he didn't say things that he clearly did about the topic of the DOJ's ridiculous lawsuit against the state of Alaska.
The lawsuit is ridiculous on its face, but Trump gave the ammo needed for even the Supreme Court to reject hearing this case if it gets that far.
Host Margaret Brennan did not let up on Blanche, as she bombarded the AG with quotes from Demented Donald and his own filings on the lawsuit to undermine the entire rationale for suing in the first place.
Trump said he told the DOJ to file the lawsuit publicly, and when asked if he told Blanche to do it, Todd feigned being offended.
BRENNAN: In terms of the question I asked you, I asked if it was President Trump who told you to take this action. When the president said, I'm the one that said, do it, who did he tell to do it?
BLANCHE: So, I will never, ever, ever talk about communications that I have with the president of the United States. I never have, and I never will.
BRENNAN: No, the president yesterday said this on camera. He said, I told them to do it. Did he tell that to you?
BLANCHE: No, he didn't say that on camera.
BRENNAN: He said, he told them to do that.
