Jesse Watters Tries To Use Bush V. Gore To Defend Trump

We make our share of typos here at C&L. But no one here is paid what Jesse Watters and staff get.

So we're gonna make sure we point out "OUR MEDIA ROOTS AGAINST FREE SPECH" on Fox yesterday.

In addition to that nonsense, Jesse Watters did what Jesse Watters does in covering the latest Trump indictment. He threw muddy Jell-o on the walls to ensure that what didn't stick would at least muddy the actual truth.

JESSE WATTERS (HOST): One of the worst ways to instill confidence in our elections is to throw people in prison who question them. If Al Gore had asked Florida to send an alternate slate of electors after the 500- vote recount margin, Al Gore would have been charged with conspiracy to defraud the government. Al Gore believes he won that election. His opponent's brother was the governor of Florida in an election this close. You're saying Al Gore working the phones before certification was illegal. It's preposterous.
