Former President Donald Trump's criminal indictment in Georgia may be televised. In my opinion, there are two sides as to whether this would be a good idea. The twice-impeached fourice-indicted former President might try to grandstand and turn the legal proceedings into a circus. On the other hand, we can't ever let this happen again, so tape it for posterity. And he will lie about what actually happened, and we don't need to hear him twisting the facts through Truth Social.
Also, slap that shit on Pay-Per-View to pay off our national debt. Trump is responsible for 25% of that. Or use the money to buy Trump Tower and turn it into a homeless shelter.
The Fulton County superior court judge who is presiding this week over the grand jury proceedings decided that it would be OK to televise it, according to The Messenger. Georgia is more lax about these things than other states.
“If a grand jury presents an indictment, that’s usually in the afternoon, and you can film and photograph that,” Fulton County superior court Judge Robert McBurney said.
It will be presented to McBurney to sign and be made public.
They did allow cameras on Monday.
