The two top members of the House Judiciary and Oversight Committees have now demanded that President Donald Trump preserve all of his prompts and conversations with any artificial intelligence chatbots, including and especially Elon Musk's Grok, after coming to learn that the sitting president of this country appears to be relying on AI chatbots to shape White House policy, and even weigh in on decisions to invade foreign nations.
POLITICO has obtained and reported on a letter sent to Donald Trump by Democratic House Reps. Jamie Raskin and Robert Garcia -- who are expected to wield the Judiciary and Oversight gavels if Democrats secure their expected victories next week -- in which they demand that the president henceforth preserve "any prompts" he has submitted to artificial intelligence chatbots, including Grok, ChatGPT, and Claude, while "carrying out your constitutional, statutory, or other official or ceremonial duties." The letter also demands that the AI chatbot responses be preserved.
